Avenue A by Adidias – A Quarterly Subscription Box

I’ve had my share of subscribing to a handful of subscription box services — Panduh Box, Petit Vour, Birchbox, Naturebox, Glossybox.. I’ve nearly tried more than a dozen different subscription box services. Receiving a box full of surprise goodies each month is reminiscent of the feeling of opening gifts on Christmas! So when I got wind that Adidas had decided to do their take on a subscription box service I was immediately drawn to it.

Avenue A by Adidas is a celebrity curated quarterly (4x per year – ships every 3 months) box filled where style and performance collide with a mix of premium apparel and footwear. Each box is filled with at least 3 premium items. This box is priced at $150 — a high price point on the spectrum of subscription services but take a closer look at the products featured and you’ll be glad to know that the box retails well over $150.

I skipped out on the first box that was released for Spring & I regret it! After seeing what members received in the first box really pushed me to sign up for the Summer edition and I’m so glad I did. The Summer edition of Avenue A was curated by US Soccer player Morgan Brian and contains the following:

  1. Fitsmart Watch  ($130)
  2. Adidas Edge Lux Bounce running shoe ($85)
  3. Supernova tank top ($35)
  4. M10 woven shorts ($32)
  5. Adilette Ultra Slides ($35)
  6. Headband ($16)



The sneak peek item was the Fitsmart watch and though I initially wasn’t excited for it because I didn’t think I had a need for it (Fitbit user here), I found myself wearing the watch immediately after receiving it. I like that the band we received is white and I’m excited that I finally have a band that tracks my heart rate. I’m curious to see  how hard I’m actually working out in class. I’m in love with the slides and running shoes — I didn’t think I’d like the color of the running shoes (I wish they had sent the pink!) but the color up-close and in-person is really pretty. The running shoes and slides are extremely comfortable; they have me wanting to train to run (I hate running) and shop for more slides. The tank is somewhat loose and I can see myself wearing this to an array of fitness classes (since I’m not so much a runner atm). There are reflective details on the shirt, which is great for those who actually do take it to the streets for a run. The shorts on the other hand are super short on me! Not sure if I’ll actually wear these out for a run but since I’m loving everything else that came in this box, I’m not bothered by it at all.








This box is perfect for fitness enthusiasts and for those looking for a little motivation to stay active (cute work out clothes & gear is a really good motivator!)! It was nice to see that they’ve included a sneaker in the Summer edition since the first box contained Pure Boosts. Avenue A is still so new, so it’s interesting to see just how many sneakers get thrown into the mix of these boxes. It looks like we’ll be 3/3 for sneakers! Fall will also receive sneakers! Sneak(er) preview here. If sneakers continue to be included in every box, I don’t know what I would do with myself (in an overwhelmingly good way)!

Adidas has something really special here and I can’t wait to see what ends up being in the Fall edition! I’m really hoping they create a similar curated box for men — Ray was so envious of the goodies I received!
