Celebrating Eva Mendes x New York & Company

Recently I was among the lucky few that got the chance to view & shop the Eva Mendes x NY&Company holiday collection at the pop up shop in SoHo (166 Spring Street). Beautiful images of Eva in her holiday collection covered the walls and newly dressed manikins graced the window-fronts. Glasses of champagne were passed out & after a brief introduction to the collection, we were given the chance to shop the collection before it was released!

It was exciting to see that the line featured more dresses than previously and the pinks from fall have decided to stick around. Every style of top was created in the collection’s prints and colors so if you fell in love with a certain style, you would be able to get it in about 3 other colors (which is wonderful because you can never have too many of a favorite!).

NY&Company allowed all the guests to pick up one item as a gift which was a little difficult narrowing it down to one considering there were at least 5 items that I had fallen in love with! After a quick try-on of a couple of dresses that caught my eye, I decided to pick up the brown and black baroque dress!

As shopping came to a close, we all boarded the SUVs and headed over to Omar’s La Ranita (21 W 9th Street) for dinner.

After finding my placement at the table, I couldn’t help but notice that there was another surprise on my dinner plate! Eva had hand written a note and underneath was a personalized jewelry box and inside was a beautiful brooch from the new collection! I was thrilled because 1) I’ve been in need of a jewelry box for some time and 2) I’ve been eyeing that brooch from earlier in the evening!

Dinner was amazing and the company was even better! I’m in love with my baroque dress and I can’t wait to shop more of the collection. For those of you interested, the line is releasing today so go check out your nearest NY&Company location or online.

Thank you to Eva Mendes, NY&Company, and Vogue for a fun evening of fashion!
