I received a BluRay edition of Christopher Robin for reviewing purposes.
All opinions are my own and do not express the opinions of Disney.
I’m so thrilled to have received Christopher Robin on BluRay from Disney! When I had first heard about the live-action adaptation of the movie my inner-child screamed with excitement. Christopher Robin follows the story of an adult Christopher Robin, played by Ewan McGregor, as he has lost his sense of imagination and is then reunited with his childhood bear friend, Winnie the Pooh. The movie is charming, sweet and full of magical adventures. Disney’s Christopher Robin coming to Blu-ray, DVD and Digital on November 6!
While watching the movie I was inspired to share how incredible honey is and how I use it into my day-to-day.
Honey Facial Mask
Honey is known for their antioxidants and for being antibacterial so grab a tablespoon and slather on some honey directly onto your face and leave on for 10 minutes. I personally use Manuka Honey and have found it to be so hydrating which is perfect as transition into winter.
Soothing Sore Throats
Speaking of Manuka Honey, when I start to get a tickle in my throat or when I’ve gotten a full-blown sore throat, I know I can count on honey to help soothe. I mix 1-2 teaspoons of Manuka honey in a cup of hot water and 1-2 teaspoons of apple cider vinegar. The measurements aren’t really a science but I’ve found that these ratios work for me. I don’t mind the ACV taste so each glass I make tends to vary when it comes to the measurements. I’ll even just take a teaspoon full of honey, sans cup of hot water, and have found it to help rid of the soreness.
Honey Salve For Everything
There are many skincare brands that utilize honey in their formulations, one of them being the Farmacy. I’m in love with all their products but my all-time favorite from the brand is the Honey Savior. If you’re not into carrying a bottle of honey with you (haha), this might just be your trick. It combats dry skin and helps soothe irritations. It can be used on your face, lips, hands, cuticles, feet, legs, and essentially anywhere else that might need some TLC.
