Hand pulled noodles. Exactly what it means.. Noodles made and pulled from hand. I actually didn’t know this was still done and I didn’t have a clue as to how it was done until watching an episode of Anthony Bourdain while he was in China. It looks like a tedious and long process which is why I give a lot of respect to the restaurants that still do it. Thankfully there’s a restaurant not too far from home that serves this and only this… Well okay, maybe some dumplings too. The restaurant is named Super Taste and has quite a good rating on Yelp by it’s reviewers who also rave about the delicious dumplings (so delish that you can skip the soy sauce.
So we gave the hand pulled noodles and dumplings a try. I had gotten the hand pulled noodle with beef in soup while the boyfriend had gotten the spicy beef. We also shared a plate of 10 dumplings. Straight to the point, it was yummy! Even the dumplings were delicious and actually had a sweet taste to them. I guess you can say these aren’t your typical dumplings. The dinner was pretty awesome considering everything cost only about $16!
