Honeymoon’ing Part 7: Dubrovnik, Croatia

Ray and I enjoyed two weeks honeymooning in Venice, Bari, Greece, Albania, and Rome. Here’s part 7 of our trip! If you want to go to Part 6 in Albania, click here . To skip ahead and see us in Rome and the Vatican, click here for Part 8.

Dubrovnik was another city that we were excited to visit. The initial planning stages of our honeymoon consisted of numerous stops in Croatia due to a number of factors we couldn’t make it work. We were happy to have it still be a part of our honeymoon and after visiting, we can’t wait to go back.

Dubrovnik was a change of scenery from what we’ve seen in Greece and Italy. The terrain had more hills, greenery, and the seas were crystal clear. The old town was incredible to see and Ray and I were majorly fan-girling/-boying over being in King’s Landing (Game of Thrones reference). The sights were unreal and the weather was perfect for the day we were there.

We climbed up the walls that surround the city and got to overlook all of old town as well as the sea right outside the walls. We stopped for lunch and 2nd lunch (haha!) just to spend more time taking in the views.

We did so much on our honeymoon that I had to split it up in multiple posts. Here you can skip around and check out the cities you’re most interested in, or you can keep going in order 🙂
