FTL Moda x FTL Moda Loving You was whimsical, futuristic, and inspirational — The show kicked off with designer Hendrik Vermeulen, whose strong ties with Italy brought printed silks and brown leather to the runway. Adding a special touch of detail, models’ faces were painted to match the prints on the silks.
Rozelia Bot followed, bringing romantic and ethereal silhouettes adorned with embroidered flowers. Dresses suites for the most perfect garden tea party, I immediately fell in love with all the looks!
Landi Accessories followed bringing everyone’s attention directly to the accessories as the models were covered in splashes of white and minimal clothing.
And as if the show couldn’t surprise you more, Anthony Urzi brought out two metal clad guards who stood beside the runway during his entire collection, leaving little to the imagination. His collection may not be ready to wear, but the use of chains and metal were quite intriguing. The collection also featured out-of-this-world face masks that seemed a bit Aliens vs Predators, but I dig the theatricality! After all, Urzi is best known for his celebrity costumes and accessories.
The final part of the show was FTL Moda Loving You, in which FTL Moda featured disabled models from all over the world. Amuptees and models in crutches and wheelchairs dominated the runway! The final portion of the show was incredibly inspirational!
