Spa Week: Fresh Escape
7 months ago Posted in: Blog, Things I love 0

Thanks to Spa Week, I was able to try out Fresh‘s spa for the first time!  In case you’re not familiar with Spa Week, the deal is that participating spas will feature certain treatments for only $50.  Treatments can range from massages, manis&pedis, body wraps, laser hair removal, facials, etc.  Pretty sweet deal, huh?  If you’re a spa junkie, just like myself, this is a great way to try out new spas that you’ve been wanting to check out.  Some spas have been doing so well that they’ve extended their spa week for the remainder of the month.

Originally, I wanted to book an appointment for the Spring St. location.. but that was all booked out for the week so I went ahead to the Third Ave location.  Having gotten there a bit earlier than intended, I took a look at all the products the store had to offer.  I’ve never set foot in the Fresh store or had bought any products prior to my appointment.  Of course, I’d seen their lip treatment at Sephora but that was pretty much all I knew about the brand.  I was then given a questionnaire to fill out (the typical questionnaires you fill out when you’re about to get any sort of spa treatment, this one pertaining more to face because, obviously, I’m getting a facial).  After filling out the questionnaire, I was whisked to the back of the store into this cute little room:

There was also a shower in the room, but other than that, your basic treatment room.  If I didn’t already mention how amazing the store smelled, well now you know, and the room smelled just as amazing.  Thank goodness the bed was heated or else I would’ve froze in that room.  After changing and climbing in, I enjoyed the spa music for a bit until the therapist (and coincidentally the assistant manager) came in.  She explained to me that should wouldn’t explain the products she was using on me during the treatment, but instead afterwards so that I could fully relax.  Now I’m not too sure on what order she used the following products (I’m very forgetful) but here’s the list:

The products smelled delicious and I couldn’t believe how amazing the facial felt (the treatment lasted 45 minutes), even if there wasn’t any extractions.  While one of the masks were on, I had also received a neck, arm, & hand massage that had left me feeling more relaxed.  The overall treatment made me fall in love with Fresh.  After getting changed, I made my way back into the storefront to pick out the products I get with the treatment.  What’s awesome about Fresh is that however much you spend on your treatment, you get back in product.  This is what the website says,

“The cost of each treatment is fully redeemable in products. For example, if the service you choose costs $185, in addition to the treatment, you will also receive $185 worth of Fresh products of your choice.”

So basically the treatment is free?  Product is free?  However you want to look at it, something is for free.  While I shopped for $50 worth of product, they also gave me a glass of champagne to enjoy.  Spoiled and I loved it.

So what exactly did I choose to get?  The Sugar Honey Lip Treatment/Tint and the Citron de Vigne eau de parfum :)   I also received the Black Tea Instant Perfecting Mask as a sample!  I’m more of an Aveda girl, but Fresh has just been added to my favorites list!
