It’s crazy how fast summer flies by! This past weekend I was invited to a Sunday Funday Fit afternoon with W Hotels and Smartwater, and since it’s one of the last weekends of summer I knew I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to workout at outdoors.
The high-intensity workout was instructed by Barry’s Bootcamp Master Trainer and CYC Method creator, Keoni Hudoba and while it was intense, it was really fun! We did two series of 8-count moves that included lunges, air punches, and kicks, sandwiched between cardio (jumping jacks and high knees) and an abs series (planks and mountain climbers). We rounded out the class by combining the 8-count series by doing them full out to music and then we slowed down with a few stretches.
Keoni’s class was challenging but he made it fun and really pushed everyone to their best. The DJ and music was also a big part of it; it was as if we were at a dance party! So when things got hard, it was easy to just close your eyes and keep the body moving.
