This post is in partnership with VIIcode Skin Care. All opinions are my own and do not express the opinions of VIIcode.
My beauty drawer is full of skin care masks. There’s an assortment of sheet masks, hydration masks, clay masks.. basically a stash of masks that can combat any skin problem I might encounter at any given moment. It’s obvious, I’m addicted to my skin care products.
You can imagine how excited I was to give VIIcode’s Oxygen Eye Mask a try. Unlike most eye masks, VIIcode’s Oxygen eye mask is suggested to be worn overnight as an 8-hour treatment, 2-3 times a week. The eye masks can even be used prior to a big event or party where you’ll want to look your best!
Brand History
VIIcode’s brand history dates back to 1945, when the first luxury club for skincare (VII Identity Club) made its mark in New York City. To meet the requirements of other beauty pursuers who were unable to afford access to the club, VII began to develop easy-to-apply skincare meant for daily use. It is from here that VII developed into two categories: VII Beauty for basic skincare and VIIcode for luxury skin care.
Using VIIcode’s Oxygen Eye Mask
Each box comes with 6 packets and if used as suggested, this will provide about 2-3 weeks of treatment. I’ve been using the regular eye masks, but VIIcode has eye masks for dark circles. Each treatment is individually wrapped, making it easy to bring along with you while traveling. The eye masks sit on a tray and instead of being soaked in treatment, only one side contains the gel-like treatment. Once the masks are applied under the eyes, the masks don’t slide around your face and tend to stay in the location it was placed. This made it easy to wear my glasses while I was doing the treatment.
I wore my first treatment after showering before bed and wore them for about 2 hours. The treatment was cooling and hydrating. When I removed the mask, there wasn’t any noticeable residue so I opted to just pat in whatever was left of the treatment into my skin and call it a night.
While I don’t have any skin concerns with my eye area, I loved using these eye masks as a preventative measure in my skin care routine. I found that after my treatment, my eye area felt refreshed and moisturized. I have a few packets left over in which I plan on using during my honeymoon in Europe! If you’re looking for a treatment to take care of bags or dark circles under the eyes, take a look at VIIcode’s Oxygen Eye Mask (pssst, you can these on Amazon Prime!) If you do decide to give VIIcode a try, I’d love to hear your thoughts!
