If you’re a fan of Louis Vuitton, fashion, handbags, or luxury items, you’re not going to want to miss this exhibit. Now until January 7, 2018 Louis Vuitton’s Volez, Voguez, Voyagez exhibit located in the American Stock Exchange is free to the public! While guided tours are available, general admission is free and reservinig a ticket is recommended though not necessary (I visited the exhibit twice and didn’t see lines for unticketed general admission).
This exhibit ‘retraces the adventure of the House of Louis Vuitton from 1854 to the present. A story told through the portraits of its founders, as well as those who today are inventing the Louis Vuitton of tomorrow.’
It was a treat to see vintage trunks, handbags of old and new, and the different ways the trunks and bags were used. There were a handful of themed rooms from classic trunks to all modes of transportation and even a room full of LV fashion.
And like most exhibits in the city, this one ends with a gift shop full of small leather goods, coffee book tables, and gifting items that are perfect for the holiday season! Don’t worry about leaving the exhibit empty handed, LV gives guests collectible pins on the way out. If the exhibit doesn’t make you awe in wonder, definitely grab a pin on the way out for your piece of Louis Vuitton!
